Hi! I'm Kreesh. I'm a fresh graduate and currently unemployed. I really didn't entertain the idea of blogging before because I thought that it is time consuming and nerve wrecking. In other words, I thought that it is difficult to maintain a blog. But thanks to my Philosophy teacher, I have a blog, and I'm definitely loving the blogging experience.
You see, when I was in third year college, my Philosophy teacher required us to create a blog where we would post our answers to our assignments instead of personally submitting hard copies to him. It's paperless, convenient, and updated because we're utilizing the Internet. This is basically how the blog started, and the reason why most of my older posts are related to the philosophy of religion.
After I took the subject, I opened myself to the idea of keeping the blog because honestly, I enjoyed the whole experience of it. What more when I start blogging about my passions, right? Thus, I created My cup of green tea...
My cup of green tea... covers three of my passions in life- reading, writing, and taking pictures.
Read. Reading is a form of escape for me. It brings me to different places, introduces me diverse people, and broadens my imagination. But, what I love the most about reading are the moment I open a book and get engrossed by it, and the learning that I get from it. Oh! I just love books. I can consume myself with books every day.
Write. I remember when I started in college, I feared losing time for writing. Back then, I had the luxury of time to write poems and stories. Actually, I wrote pretty much anything I like. But, college life was different; I was jam-packed with school requirements and activities that I didn't have time to write anymore. Fortunately, a close friend of mine who was about to transfer to another university gave me a journal. On the first page, she wrote me letter, and told me "I hope this notebook will inspire you to write and pour out your emotions." From then on, I found my way back to writing. I realized that if there is something we love and passionate about, we will always find a way to make time for it no matter what.
Photograph. "A picture is worth a thousand words." Cliche as it may sound but when words are not enough to express what I feel, a photograph depicts everything that needs to be said. Sometimes a photograph portrays what the naked eye cannot see. There is beauty all around us. We will never know the wonders that we will see through a lens. So, never underestimate what you can do with your camera's eye.
The primary purpose of this blog is to express myself, and hopefully, to inspire others. Enjoy the My cup of green tea... experience!
Good blog post.
